WINE IN THE SPOTLIGHT
Pinotage Reserve 2010
The annual ABSA Top Ten Pinotage Competition is organized by the Pinotage Association with the objective of advancement and promotion of wine made from Pinotage grapes.
The competition does not name a winner, but is a collection of deduced finalists. Wines are initially revaluated blind and scored against a 20 point system. The 30-40 top scorers are then ranked by the judges without preference, their top 10 selections.
We are proud to announce that the Diemersdal Pinotage Reserve 2010 has achieved this prestigious award!

FUN TIMES AT THE FARM
Pumpkin and Wine Matching Evening - 23 August 2011
We had a fantastic evening with the ever-so-popular delicious dishes which were prepared by executive chef Craig Cormack. Who would have guessed that the dry Sauvignon Rosé pairs perfectly with pumpkin ice cream? Or that you can serve Sauvignon Blanc with a hearty bowl of Pumpkin and Orange Soup?

NEW RELEASES
This wine has had a label change and was previously known as the Single Vineyard Sauvignon Blanc. This special Sauvignon Blanc now features in Diemersdal's Reserve Range along with the Chardonnay Reserve and Private Collection.
The 8 Rows Sauvignon Blanc 2011 is newly available from the tasting room and is yet again only limited to 5000 bottles!
The wine shows a strong core of minerality with flinty elegance on the nose with a rounded mouthfeel and balanced acidity on the finish. Enjoy with pan-seared tuna or fresh salmon with a fennel and olive oil dressing. |
